As proud and thrilled as I am that Bill Slawski has been swiped up by Danny Sullivan to write for the SEW Blog on Search Engine Patents, I just want to say this.
I found him first.
Or, he found me, as it really happened.
For a little taste of why Bill is in such demand in SEO Land, see his latest patent inspection in Google’s adaptive pagerank patent. Bill uses uncomplicated phrases for meaty documents, like "nice job", "interesting" and...,
"It also doesn’t address such things as historical data, seasonality, burstiness, user behavior, and other areas which we’ve seen included in other papers and patent applications from academia and patent filings."
Just the fact that he can make heads or tails out of this stuff, and then knows the fun facts the patent writers actually left out?! Amazing.
Congratulations to my fellow Cre8asiteforums Administrator. He's a hard worker, devoted to the SEO/M/Search Engine industries and an all around really nice guy.
