Cre8asiteForums Server Move Done, Nicknamed SpeedRacer

It's exciting and scary to be moving a huge forums from one server to another server and even more interesting in that the Tech Admins are in Australia and the UK, while the servers and hosts are tucked inside the USA. With as much as a 14 hour time difference, well...the other side of the planet knows we're live and the rest of you, WAKE UP and get outta bed!

The forums are faster. Still testing and stuff but you should be able to see them and post. (During the move everyone could still read the forums, just couldn't post.) Alan, our host from NJ, was a real trooper though all this.

For awhile we were communicating from one server/forums and testing on another server/forums. And emailing in between too. Fun stuff.

Tim, one of our Aussie Mods (who has earned himself a promotion after all this, I'm thinking), made this announcement in the Cre8tive Flow blog, which is the forums blog. And, he (being awake and all) communicated to anyone who was wondering what the heck was going on via the blog too.

And we're live...

It's still Saturday in most parts of the world, and our move has been successfully completed. If you are seeing the new forums, you should be seeing a large "Crea8site has moved" message on the front page. If you are still seeing our previous message, you may need to wait a bit longer for your ISP to catch up with the move.

If you notice any bugs, or anything you think is out of the ordinary, we'd like to hear about it. This thread in our Forum Issues forum is a good place to raise anything.

Next step: new forum software. I can't wait until it's ready to unveil!"
