Cre8asiteForums Is Moving

Just a quick note, for those who haven't yet heard, that we're moving Cre8asiteForums to a new server environment over the weekend. This means we must lock the forums and if you try to visit, you'll be taken to this lovely page.

We're answering questions from the community here, while we're still "live": Forums Community Alert! Downtime Notice

This is stage 1 of a long process we've undertaken to overhaul the forums. On August 30, 2005, we will turn 3 years old!, though the original version of the forums dates back to September 1998.

We owe a gigantic debt to our host, Alan Runfeldt, a long-time good friend of mine from Frenchtown, New Jersey, USA who has let the forums sit on one of his servers for free. But, needs change and so do circumstances. We're taking advantage of an opportunity to reside on a dedicated server generously provided by Ron Carnell, one of our Moderators.

In the future, the forums will switch over to Invision software. We'll have a new homepage. Our Cre8tive Flow blog has a new editor, Elizabeth, aka "ablereach".

We have other plans as well, which we're keeping secret, but that have been in the works for months and months. We're hanging on to the Cre8asite Resources Directory, too.

Thank you for bearing with us during all these changes. We're excited and lucky to have had such strong support from so many of you.

SEO by the SEA - This weekend!

Meanwhile, while this is going on, I'd like to direct you to something one of our Administrators, Bill Slawski, is up to this weekend. It's called SEO by the SEA. I hate missing it. If you can make any of the scheduled events, you're in for a treat. The area is pretty, the weather should be great and Bill is a fantastic guy to get to know!
