Warmest Greetings,
Buy Online and Save Sexuality
:: Friday, October 08, 2004 ::
Today's topic is stolen from the subject line of a Spam email I found in today's Inbox that read "Buy Online and Save Sexuality". If this is how we can "save sexuality", I'm all for it.
But, I'm concerned that I would have missed this vital message from Heaven-Knows-Who. I get between 5000 and 7000 Spam emails a day, plus a few hundred daily emails that aren't flagged as Spam. After I weed through that pile, there is perhaps about 100 a day that actually serve a true purpose.
Frankly, I'm worried I'm missing important emails, such as how to save sexuality. So, I've decided that it's time I take action, do my part for the cause, and let everyone know that in fact, there is a sexuality crisis in America. Not overseas though.
They're all very much in-tune with their bodies over there and rather not afraid to talk about them at all. I've learned this from the non-USA Moderators at Cre8asiteForums who were instrumental in developing the initiation ritual for incoming new moderators.
But, I'm sorry. I'm straying off-topic here.
To return to the important message of the day that got my attention while nestled inside the first 5023 Spam emails in my Inbox - the one about saving sexuality if you buy online - I have decided to dedicate all of usability ebooks and services to the cause.
Just think. If you hire me, you are saving sexuality. The Spam email subject line didn't say if it was human sexuality we could be saving, but let's assume, for a moment, that they meant that. I'm comfortable in knowing that you and I are doing our part.
My web site usability evaluation services are here. I'm very friendly and easy to work with too. And I care about small businesses. For them, I'm getting ready to launch a different kind of web site usability review that focuses on key first impression points. As we all know, first impressions are critical. For business, of course. I know what you were thinking!

Usability News for the UK
The Usability Professionals Association reminds:
"DISABILITY DISCRIMINATION ACT 1995 becomes enforceable in October 2004. Part 3 of the Act mandates that providers of “goods, facilities, and services” shall make reasonable adjustments to accommodate disabled people in the UK."
I Found Him First
Just in. A fantastic interview of my dear friend Bill Slawski by Lip Sticking Called Smart Man Online: William Slawski
Maybe it's me, but I think Bill is doing his part for The Cause as well.

I do apologize for the long time in between posts. I went on an exercise binge that caused me to injure my left knee on the Rowing machine. I became quite stressed I guess, though truthfully don't know why, and got a bad case of the hives. And a migraine headache that has lasted for 3 days. But the good news is I lost 7 pounds so far.
In my next life, I choose to be a frog.
