Warmest Greetings,
SEO Road Show A Wild Success
:: Monday, September 20, 2004 ::
They traveled near and far for beer, food and the chance to reinvigorate themselves. It's been a tough time for the SEO/SEM industry - a year of conflicts, confusing changes made by search engines and constant technological and marketing challenges to keep up with.
None of which seems to faze the devoted individuals who came together at the SEORoadShow in London.
Coverage:
The SEOroadshow - a great success
"This was back to the basics. The heart and soul of what it is all about. The SEO community."
"If there was a theme, then it would have been "Tolerance, open-discussion, free exchange and camaraderie", since the crowd varied from people I've known for as long as I've known folks in the industry to folks who've only just recently begun to join the action. Face to face, one on one, or in small groups. No borders, no barriers, no pressures."
SEO Roadshow review
"12.00 pm or thereabouts, we enter the Citte of York pub. I spot my dear friend Fantomaster and the hugging begins. Within minutes I have hugged Danny Sullivan, Barry and Hilary (again) Shak (again) David White, and possibly even NFFC. And by now I'm back on the "little girly" drinks."
A Bunch of Very Toasty Mostly Men
I would like to publically thank Mark (NFFC) and Colin (Gravelsack) for offering recognition of the second anniversary of Cre8asiteForums. We were most humbled and honored to be thought of at this event. Thank you very much.
Usability Matters
The Cost of Frustration by Jared Spool.
"While it's hard to measure whether a design is poor or not, we can easily measure when frustration occurs. With a little digging, we can usually associate a dollar cost to the frustration, thereby giving us a way to estimate, in financial terms, the cost of the poor design."
Fans of Farscape
For those who believe...Farscape, The Peacekeeper Wars
"Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars co ntinues the adventures of astronaut John Crichton and his intergalactic comrades. Newly engaged and expectant parents John Crichton (Ben Browder) and Aeryn Sun (Claudia Black) have been chased around the galaxy, have fallen in love and now all they want is for their baby to be born and live in peace. However they’ll first have to survive an all-out galactic war between the Scarrans and Peacekeepers as well as a myriad of outlandish and unexpected surprises that have become the hallmark of this award-winning series."
