Cloaking Peace Pipe...Still more attempts to make peace between cloaking tribes is Danny Sullivan of SearchEngineWatch.com. He writes in Ending The Debate Over Cloaking "There's always someone who feels they have a situation that justifies doing something specifically for the search engines, rather than humans."
Still another reason to not renew your Directory listing...?Yahoo! wants to increase paid ads at the top of each page from 3 or 4 to about 10. Well, so much for finding your listing above the "fold" that you paid $200 a year for! Click on >>> Yahoo tests new search layout
DejaVu. If you just upgraded Opera to 7.0 last week, do it again. Grey Magic found errors, so now there's 7.01.
Way over my head...but maybe not yours, so here you go. It's called the Semantic Web SearchDay does a nice writeup on Semantic Web here - A Portal for the Semantic Web -
Quote: "Today, the web is largely a human-machine system. If you want something on the web, you must type an URL, open a bookmark, use a search engine, and so on.
The semantic web, by contrast, will enable meaningful machine-machine interactions. Berners-Lee envisions a future where everything on the web will both thoroughly defined, and linked in a way that significantly reduces the need for human intervention."
