Warmest Greetings,
:: Tuesday, February 04, 2003 ::
Another Peter...Peter Jennings, news anchor for ABC News, is my favorite newsman. I love his warmth and ability to remain cool under tremendous pressure. Turns out he has a Blog. Although it's not as hilarious and clever as Peter Da Vanzo's SearchEngineBlog, Peter J's is informative and well written. And I can get my daily fix for evening news when I don't have time to turn on a TV or Radio (which is often the case.) Click on >>> Jennings Journal
Yesterday Kalena Jordan of SearchEngineNewsBlog (and http://www.high-search-engine-ranking.com/) caught my online matchmaking remarks and responded with a positive story of her own. Turns out she met her husband online! Then she pointed out a website that shares success stories, Internet Love Stories. So, even though everybody I met looked 20 years older in real life than the picture they sent me, and were 3 inches smaller than what they said they were, (not saying where that deficit was!), I do know meeting people online can lead to love. Sometimes it even lasts.
We're Not Finished Fighting Yet...Yet another great read on Cloaking this week, continued from the fervor last week when WMW's Brett Tabke came out to discuss his views, while Jill Whalen ran what became a controversial article from Alan Perkins on the matter in her newsletter. The top SEO forums erupted in cloaking ethics and definitions wars. This piece features stealth technology expert, Fantomaster. Click on >>> Fantomaster's Perspective on Cloaking, Deception, Search Engines, & SEO. Quote: "I think it's pointless to pursue these debates on a moral or "ethical" stance: what it all boils down to in the end is that what works will be used, what doesn't will be chucked."
And lastly. Put this in your search engine pipe and smoke it. Toilet Paper Algorithms
