Today's Website Usability "Scary Website Trick" award ... (like I really give out these things everyday. Not!) goes to www.lefteardesign.com for its attempt to remove the browser, user controls, window resize option and use of a popup saying thank you for visiting when I didn't do anything more than bring up the URL.
Glitz and glamourous sites do not make website users happy if the site does all the driving and forces the user into the trunk of the car.
