CLICKTRACKS ISSUES CALL FOR SEO BETA TESTERS Test to Validate Search Engine Optimization Features in Web Metrics Software
SUNNYVALE, CA — October 29, 2002 ClickTracks, Inc., makers of web metrics software ClickTracks Analyzer (www.clicktracks.com), today announced that companies and consultants are being sought to participate in the beta test of ClickTracks Analyzer v. 3.0. Companies and individuals selected to participate in this beta test must meet the following prerequisites:
1. Companies or individuals must be actively engaged in Search Engine Optimization. 2. Must be available to test the software anytime during the period of October 30 through November 7, 2002 Qualified companies who meet these requirements and are interested in participating in the ClickTracks Analyzer beta test should contact ClickTracks at 877-773-2249 or via e-mail at beta@clicktracks.com to get started using the ClickTracks Analyzer software.
"We're excited to begin beta testing our newest version with the SEO community," said John Marshall, CEO of ClickTracks. "Currently, ClickTracks Analyzer offers several tools that are well suited for this industry, including the ability to easily 'tag' groups of visitors with a common characteristic—whether it be a common referrer or keyword search—and compare and contrast those groups. Additionally, we will be gathering feedback from beta test participants on options and features they'd like to see in the next version of ClickTracks, whether it be the ability to set 'goal' pages or another way to measure the return on investment of their optimization campaigns."
ClickTracks Analyzer is a program that allows web designers, SEO consultants, web marketers and others to visually examine how visitors are interacting with their site. The software superimposes visitor data on top of the actual website, offering a completely intuitive, easy-to-understand view of site activity.
Unlike other site metrics software, ClickTracks doesn't subscribe to the 'bury-you-with-data' philosophy, and as a result, doesn't include superfluous statistics, such as 404 errors. By putting information in context, rather than simply supplying it in a pretty 3D pie chart, ClickTracks allows users to quickly and easily see relevant, actionable information. ###
